Cause
Engine control module (ECM) software fault.
Repair
- Carry out electrical, mechanical and component tests (as applicable) to eliminate any other possible cause(s).
- If no fault(s) found: Re-program engine control module (ECM) with upgraded software.

CAN data bus gateway control module does not switch to sleep mode due to software fault. Fix: re-program with updated software.
